please add support for putlocker domain...
it has a large collection of videos....

That file is - judging by the name - almost certainly copyrighted, and I'm almost a 100% sure that putlocker does not have a license. Can you name an example URL that does not infringe copyright?

i cannot get another link as they are usually given in some forums or elsewhere...
its similar to rapidshare but for videos only....
but i have earlier uploaded few home made clips and distributed the links but it was not possible to download them

but you can find lots of link to copyright material uploaded to putlocker domain on this website...http://vodly.to/ its clean....scanned for malware

Sorry, it looks like putlocker only distributes copyrighted material without authorization. youtube-dl does not support such "illegal-only" sites. Therefore, I'm closing this issue for now. We will reopen it (and add putlocker support) if somebody can show that it distributes legal content.
