Can you try open this link in another borwser / incognito mode? |
|
It doesn't work in incognito. However, if you try the source URL in incognito it directs you to the correct landing page; that's what you're suppose to see for the most part; there's a login; if you login and click section 5 of the table of contents, that's what you're suppose to see with a video on that page. What do you mean use link generated in browser? Oh, you mean use that link for the URL in the command and try to pass cookies as well? I'll try it now. update: I used exportcookies.txt for chrome extensions. And I'm using the browser generated URL of the page that contains the video. I tried to extract but nothing is happening. I know that 1080.mp4.part is the file I want to get because I found a URL link that includes more information on top of the m3u8. Which is ?Policy=eyJTdGF0ZW1lbnQiOlt7IlJlc291cmNlIjoiaHR0cHM6Ly9obHMyLnZpZGVvcy5zcHJvdXR2aWRlby5jb20vMzFiMGE4YzdlMmIzZGQ1YTcwN2NhZWZkZDE3NTYyZGQvZmMwMWRhNTFkMDRjMjE5ODk5NzM3Zjg2MGJmZmNmOGUvKi5tM3U4IiwiQ29uZGl0aW9uIjp7IkRhdGVMZXNzVGhhbiI6eyJBV1M6RXBvY2hUaW1lIjoxNTMxODQ0NzQyfX19XX0_&Signature=OIIbHUSuUc4VMVwbcICpczbfpn When I try to use this link it tries to download indefinetly and doesn't do anything other than make the file called 1080.mp4.part and 1080.mp4.ytdl |

try cookies + http://indemandcareer.com/blueprint/5-digital-marketing-the-website/ btw: (sad truth) faster be use some browser extension to download video |
|
It won't work if used a browser extension. Youtube-dl is a fork of ffmpeg, correct? I believe only youtube-dl and ffmpeg can handle encrypted video streams to this extent. I already tried cookies as said in my first post. Can you recommend me a cookie extension, because they all output something different. I have tried several and I'm not sure which one is the one that youtube-dl likes. update: Apparently, in 2012, github removed private messaging. How can I give you my login information bato3? I want someone to help me solve this issue. |
post the verbose output with the full URL that contains |

Should I make a new issue? I was hoping to provide a login so someone can try it themselves. |

try with |

also, you keep asking why the issue closed. |
|
C:\Users\censored\Desktop\youtube-dl>youtube-dl.exe --verbose --hls-prefer-native --f repeats 10 attempts for all 89 fragments [download] Skipping fragment 89... |
|
it most likely that the URL query is also necessary for HLS fragments.
anyway, there aren't much that we can do, without having access to the website. |
|
I would love to send you the login information. How do I do that without publishing it publicly? remitamine - I found your email is it ok for me to send you my login? |
yes |
|
this a little difficult to integrate with
so the URLs of each group has to be requested with the proper policy.
|
|
Have you been able to extract one of the videos? I am a little confused on how to extract a video at this point, if it is possible. If you were successful, can you please give an example on how you did it? I found 3 different CloudFront parameters: key-pair-id, Policy, and Signature. I tried using them to get the .m3u8 video. Didn't work for me when I tried in various ways. |
getting the video won't be too difficult, you just have to use the appropriate policy for the relevant resources, but to simplify the process you have to create a script that makes the correct requests.
as I said, there is no support in |
Cloudflare now can stream video: https://www.cloudflare.com/products/cloudflare-stream/ |
@bato3 CloudFlare and Amazon CloudFront are different things. |
|
I made a new account, if one of the devs need it to implement this site. The other account expired. |

I'm having a similar issue =/
