I've verified and I assure that I'm running youtube-dl 2018.07.21
I've at least skimmed through the README, most notably the FAQ and BUGS sections

I'm getting a
401: Unauthorizederror when I try to download a password-protected video on livestream.com, even though I've specified the correct password using the--video-passwordflag. I'm able to view the video in a browser without signing in, and by using the same password mentioned.You can reproduce this issue with this video in a browser:
