Can you post the entire output of youtube-dl, when invoked with the --verbose option? Without that, it's basically impossible to reproduce and then fix your problem.

Well, can you simply copy the entire output somewhere, for example into a gist? Just [redirecting](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redirection_(computing\)) the output of youtube-dl should also work, so next time, simply run it as

youtube-dl -v PL.... http://some/video >log 2>&1

This will create a log file log that contains the entire output of youtube-dl.

For starters, the first lines in your downloading process may provide a hint. Can you copy those into the bug report? They tell us about what playlist you are downloading (you haven't told as that yet!), but also about your system and its configuration.

Without this information, it's basically impossible to diagnose the problem. Imagine going to a car mechanic and saying that your car shows some problem when it's raining, but not actually bringing your car or any more information.
