Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

I downloaded the Windows exe from the link in the Github Readme and also from the youtube-dl Download Page. I usually run the exe file through VirusTotal before downloading and both of them came out clean.

However, after I downloaded them, I just ran the exe file through VirusTotal again via uploading it and got what I assume to be 3 false positive results.

I have both Kaspersky Total Security and Malwarebytes installed on one PC, with Avast and Malwarebytes installed on another PC (both running Windows 10). Neither one was infected with anything, and have never been infected with anything AFAIK, and I run them at more thorough levels of treatment than they should, so I'm surprised that nothing comes up. I even ran scans using all of them on both PC's to make sure, with nothing wrong coming up. I should also note this regardless of the browser used: Opera, Firefox, Chrome, or Edge

All of the hashes are the same and correspond to the same SHA256 hash of the 2018.07.29 exe file on the youtube-dl Download Page as of this moment:
acd5e953ee1852fa8aca34a69b68226aba8945ab27242fd9291522ce14158731

I just wanted to ask if anyone has any idea why this would happen?

Happen what? False positives is a common thing for AV. Ask these AV engines why.

I understand that. I meant that, what could possibly change in the file that would trigger a false positive after I've downloaded it to my system when it's clean?

I didn't even run it.

Edit: Actually, never mind. This was just strange to see, but I guess they're still false positives anyway.
