Please follow the guide below

  • You will be asked some questions and requested to provide some information, please read them carefully and answer honestly
  • Put an x into all the boxes [ ] relevant to your issue (like this: [x])
  • Use the Preview tab to see what your issue will actually look like

Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2018.08.04. If it's not, read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

Before submitting an issue make sure you have:

  • At least skimmed through the README, most notably the FAQ and BUGS sections

  • Checked that provided video/audio/playlist URLs (if any) are alive and playable in a browser

What is the purpose of your issue?

  • Bug report (encountered problems with youtube-dl)
  • Site support request (request for adding support for a new site)
  • Feature request (request for a new functionality)
  • Question
  • Other

The following sections concretize particular purposed issues, you can erase any section (the contents between triple ---) not applicable to your issue

If the purpose of this issue is a bug report, site support request or you are not completely sure provide the full verbose output as follows:

Add the -v flag to your command line you run youtube-dl with (youtube-dl -v <your command line>), copy the whole output and insert it here. It should look similar to one below (replace it with your log inserted between triple ```):

Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

The site VVVVID is in the list of supported sites but I can't download from it.
But seems that it's not supported anymore.

Could this issue be solved?

In the URL posted by federicorosso1993 there's written ".../#!show/..." and it works fine with YouTube-dl but when I open a video on vvvvid, in the URL there's ".../#!channel/…" and it doesn't work.

Can anyone try to download from these URL?

I'm not from the development team... but why do you want to use that kind of link? If you go on the vvvvid page and click on the link of the episode you will get the right link with the !show.

where do you find links? Maybe you are using old links because even the main show page of cowboy bebop is something link this
https://www.vvvvid.it/#!show/236/cowboy-bebop

I don't even know where you found questo sono le tute spaziali del futuro because it's not in the anime, show and film section (there are no show that start with q).

I had a look to the source code. For now channels are not supported, only shows. In these days I'll try to add this feauture.

I've noticed that videos with "!channel" are old videos I've saved on my profile.
They're still visible on VVVVID but I can't find the "!show" version for some of them.
