This tool (https://github.com/NapoleonWils0n/kodi-playercorefactory) allows us to download or save the url of a video that we are watching in kodi. The download feature doesn't work well (it's disconnected in the middle). However, youtube-dl can download from that url and that makes me very happy :-)
