Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2018.09.10. If it's not, read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

I keep receiving the following error message when attempting to download from YouTube:

"ERROR: unable to open for writing: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:"

followed by the file name. This just started happening today. It is currently persistent for youtube videos.

After posting this report, I discovered that I had accidentally moved my destination folder so your application was not able to find it. Sorry that I did not realize this sooner.
