Cannot download video from vimeo.com/ondemand/*

Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2018.09.18. If it's not, read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

If the purpose of this issue is a site support request please provide all kinds of example URLs support for which should be included (replace following example URLs by yours):

• Single video: https://vimeo.com/ondemand/luter/280331656
• Single video: https://player.vimeo.com/video/280331656

Note that youtube-dl does not support sites dedicated to copyright infringement. In order for site support request to be accepted all provided example URLs should not violate any copyrights.

I'm having an issue with: $ youtube-dl -u '***@gmail.com' -p '***' -F 'https://vimeo.com/ondemand/luter/280331656' --verbose
Logs with --dump-pages

It seems that after logging in we are redirected to https://vimeo.com/home instead of the video page, that's why youtube-dl fails to fetch embedded video details.
