Hotstar downloading an "update your app" file instead of requested video #17685

As the issue #17637 says, downloading from hotstar is just downloading a video that says "update you app". That issue was marked closed, but it's still happening.

  • I've verified and I assure that I'm running youtube-dl 2018.09.26

Any timelines on when the next version will be available? FYI I am using 2018.09.26's build

@shizoinakamora they haven't released the fix yet. its fixed, but they need to build a release before you get it. last build was 9/26, before the fix was implemented.
