But it does't work.
Like George says, it doesn't work . |
It picks the format with the lowest bitrate, which is 247. It happens to have a larger filesize, but it does work as intended. |
Ok, but how take least size then? |
It works as it's intended, sure. Agreed. But the issue isn't about low bitrate or worst keyword. It is about how to achieve the object of obtaining the lowest file size for the given quality, no matter what the bitrate or codec is. Just like abr, tbr, height, there must be some keyword for size |
Can we use that? Worst mistake will be 50M. Need del all line feed (символы конца строки). And add -i for errors in playlist.
Qubc, I guess we can use that, but that's not Python's way man. Dear rg3, ealgase. what you say? |
Somtimes, this does't work too...
Will prefers 329 although worstvideo[height=720][filesize<300M]... :( |
it can be done by using -F and then piping it to a file or something and then using regex and some comparisons inside a bash or batch script. but that's a hassle and it's better if it's incorporated inside youtube-dl. |

This is a simple feature request, especially for those formats where video dimensions and video size is provided in -F output.
What I want is to get the file with small size when there are two or more with same video height.
[height=720] && [size=min]
