Limiting playlist downloads

Some filters & restrictions that could don't apply to downloading of playlists.

It'd be nice if date and related could apply to playlists so the entire list doesn't need to be retrieved. If you know the playlist is ordered by time it would greatly limit the need to download the whole of the playlist.

My interest is to periodically download videos from YouTube Subscriptions feed. Currently the playlist downloading takes quite a while and most of the playlist is thrown away due to date filters after the fact.
