Youtube live streams not downloaded #18809

Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2019.01.10. If it's not, read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

  • I've verified and I assure that I'm running youtube-dl 2019.01.10

Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

I noticed yesterday that live streams from YouTube stopped loading! I checked several streams and it was the same everywhere - ERROR: This video is unavailable. I also tried downloading through a proxy - the result is the same. I think that YouTube has changed something in the broadcast live video.

I apologize, for some reason, youtube-dl.exe has not been updated for me
Thanks for the prompt solution of the problem.
