If the purpose of this issue is a site support request please provide all kinds of example URLs support for which should be included (replace following example URLs by yours):

Note that youtube-dl does not support sites dedicated to copyright infringement. In order for site support request to be accepted all provided example URLs should not violate any copyrights.


Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

I need to get the dash manifest file that youtube uses to stream videos.It would help to proxy stream youtube videos in all qualities rather than only 360p.Is there a flag that i can use to get it.

No such flag.
If format originally comes from DASH manifest there is a corresponding meta field in info dict:

Youtude-dl is able to extract itags that are label as "DASH audio" and "DASH video" like 137.However i don't see a manifest_url in the json.Since the video and audio is separate youtube must be a able to stream them somehow .Thank you for taking the time for clearing my doubts
