If the purpose of this issue is a site support request please provide all kinds of example URLs support for which should be included (replace following example URLs by yours):

Note that youtube-dl does not support sites dedicated to copyright infringement. In order for site support request to be accepted all provided example URLs should not violate any copyrights.

Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

the only issue I found related to it was #16130 which was posted almost a year ago and didn't recieve any responce, downloading the banner would be nice too,

I suggest you close this issue. As you've mentioned, it is the same as #16130.

How do I close it? I thought only mods could.. I only opened this because it got no response and likely wouldn't since it's a year old..

I think both the mods and the original poster can close the issue. I understand why you opened the issue and well it got my attention. But we really don't want duplicate issues, since we already have > 2200 open issues.
