there should be a flag to enable crop-out of the thumbnail.
i hate having non-square album covers in my music library. it looks terrible.
a lot of music on youtube just has the round vinyl sticker or the album artwork as video and the thumbnail. so cropping those thumbnails would only be of benefit.
