Tried to download a music off youtube after installed youtube-dl this morning on a new install of Mint 19.1. I downloaded a video earlier successfully, but now have a problem. Am reporting said issue here as instructed by terminal.

Am running latest version of youtube-dl no idea what the issue or bug is as don't understand the above.

Apologies, my understanding of this is very limited, but thought I was using the latest version after trying the usual sudo youtube-dl -U and various other commands. I fixed the issue by copying the text from this download - youtube-dl_2019.01.17-1.dsc , pasting this into terminal and hitting enter. Seems to be working ok now.
