  • Put an x into all the boxes [ ] relevant to your issue (like this: [x])

Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2019.03.01. If it's not, read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

  • I've verified and I assure that I'm running youtube-dl 2019.03.01

Before submitting an issue make sure you have:

A bit confused on this one. I have a valid cookies file and when I try 10 different urls, the first 4 or 5 don't work but the rest do. I've even cleared my browser to try and get a new cookie.

Here is the list I'm trying:

Failed youtube-dl --cookies ms.txt https://www.fox.com/watch/54074345bfce9b3069c4523fb673a41a/

So it being forbidden, I'm assuming that is related to the cookies file. I've even tried loading the specific video and updating the new cookie after that video loads. In the thinking that it needs a special cookie.

When you label it a duplicate, can you link to the original one so that I can monitor that status of that one? I didn't see any bugs that matched this.

I just looked again and noticed there is a fox new one but not fox. There isn't another issue on the board like this one.
