@cythrault Yes i know. Based on remitamine tags, it looks like they changed their DRM. |

They switched to FairPlay streamingkeydelivery DRM this week. The question now is - can youtube-dl decrypt and download such streams? |

I don't know if is close to the same problem but I received a Sample-AES encryption is not supported yet followed but this long message " Error when loading first segment 'https://rcavtoutv.akamaized.net/83b3d3f6-9eea-4d7f-91d3-900dc6f951df/2019-02-28_21_00_00_consequences_0001.ism/QualityLevels(2000435)/Fragments(video=0,format=m3u8-aapl)' and Error with FFmpeg exited code 1 |

What can be done to fix this issue ? And how hard is it to implement ? |

@Albert9999 pretty hard, i think. According to my understanding, you'll have to break the DRM or to find a way to bypass it. |

How would I go about doing this? I know a bit of Python programming but I don't know what software to use to analyze the Stream and understand how the DRM works... Any ressources you could point me towards in order to learn and help fix this bug ? Thank you. |
Same thing here, I'm using the Windows version of youtube-dl, and I get the exact same result. |

Hello you wonderful geniuses, I think I'm having the same issue. Here's my verbose log hopefully this helps in some way. Also, since the video plays fine on the browser, is there a way to find out the encryption key and then add that encryption key as an argument in the cli command? Thanks! |

Well... you would need to break the DRM used by tou.tv. Pretty hard! If you can do it... please share! |
