Description

Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKc2XOQp0dMwj9zAXD5LlWpriIXIrGaNb

I suppose that using --no-playlist at playlist url shouldn't download the entire playlist, maybe just the first video, but it is not exactly clear to me the expected behavior. Youtube-dl outputs both:

[youtube:playlist] playlist Calculus: Single Variable by Professor Robert Ghrist: Downloading 81 videos

and

[youtube] Downloading just video nqDVJFlahpU because of --no-playlist

This is expected behavior. Read command description.

The documentation doesn't mention when the url is a playlist

--no-playlist Download only the video, if the URL refers
to a video and a playlist.

I was looking for a parameter to limit the number of videos youtube-dl could download to at most 1, even for a playlist. I'll try using --playlist-end.
