I'd prefer to pile on to #21927, but that is locked.
This bug is wrecking havoc with the use of --match-title. Since this appeared, my wrapper scripts require manual intervention.

Also, when printed unescaped the \u25ba which prefixes "play all" screws up the tty settings in my xterm. Have to tput reset after youtube-dl.
