  • I've verified that I'm running youtube-dl version 2019.09.12.1
  • I've searched the bugtracker for similar feature requests including closed ones

It's somewhat useful as some of the websites may not be available through IPv6.

Thinking about taking this one on. Is this still a relevant issue? Comments have been quite empty.
