These characters should already be stripped from the simplified title. If that's not the case, please post the precise command line that reproduces the problem. |

Thank you. simplified title indeed strips invalid symbols, though I'd prefer not to strip the spaces, but that's not a big deal. Many thanks for the great tool. |
There are some characters which are not valid for windows, so please make it possible to make youtube-dl to strip such symbols. Similar behavior can be seen in wget. The problems arises when using title in output filename.
