This is completely different from what I'm asking, download-archive just write the links that were added using the command. I'm asking for a way to have one file linking to every video for each playlist of each channel. |

Sorry, but your explanation is a total mess. Even now after reading both comments for five times in a row I have no clear idea what's the use case and how exactly it's supposed to work. If you request something bother to provide clear explanations with concrete examples. I'm not going to waste time deciphering such ambiguous issues. |

M3U are files designed to make local playlists. I'm asking for a way to have the youtube playlists extracted in M3U files when downloading a complete channel. Because right now if a user want to have the channel and it's playlists, files have to be downloaded in different folders. So youtube-dl download every video from a channel, then check youtube for playlist by that channel and make a M3U file for each playlists using the downloaded videos. Example: youtube-dl [LinkToAChannel] Video1.mkv downloaded youtube-dl check for playlists by this channel, discover a playlist named Playlist1 containing Video1 and Video3 Playlist1.m3u is created, linking to Video1.mkv and Video3.mkv |

Description
When downloading a YouTube channel, it would be nice if m3u files (or similar) were created for the playlists.
That way the downloaded channels would have both video and playlist downloaded without having to download the files twice.
