Description

I cannot download videos from tumblr using tumblr_backup.py despite youtube-dl and python both being up-to-date. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling homebrew to no avail. I am on a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro running OS 10.15.1, and am a coding novice who understands very little of what I’m doing. Assume I don’t know (For example, instead of “uninstall, then reinstall homebrew”, instruct me to “enter 'brew uninstall --ignore-dependencies openssl’, then enter 'brew reinstall openssl’”.) I just want to be able to archive the videos on Tumblr pages without having to download each one individually.

If you’re going to label my problem a duplicate, would you please at least have the decency to provide a link to the page where the problem was previously posted and solved? There are a lot of threads on this forum, and when I searched for duplicates, I couldn’t find one that solved my problem or provided instructions I understood how to follow.
