Hello all,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but I couldn't find any other means of asking this question to someone who possibly can help.

I was wondering if Google can see what I'm downloading and if I can get in trouble for using youtube-dl to download videos?

Obviously it does see in both cases as there is technically no difference between downloading and viewing in a browser.
