Description
I would love to be able to play VR chat through Linux with proton and have the video player work. VR Chat uses the windows version of youtube-dl which does not work through wine/proton as it uses Windows Media Foundation Libraries. VR Chat has acknowledged this issue but says they wont fix it as Linux is not a supported platform. I was hoping that a build of youtube-dl.exe could be compiled that doesn't depend on Windows Media Foundation Libraries so I can replace VR Chats youtube-dl with a proton compatible one.
