the problem also occurred in xbmc kode plugin retrospect. It seems to be solved in this commit:
retrospect-addon/plugin.video.retrospect@0c5c431
the video container is moved into a hero block
this is the episode regex:

        episode_regex = '<a class="program-overview__link" href="(?<url>[^"]+)">\s+<span class="program-overview__title">\s+(?<title>[^<]+)</span>.*?</a>'

the video_regex that is used :

        video_regex = r'<a(?:[^>]+data-background-image="(?<thumburl>[^"]+)")?[^>]+href="' \
                      r'(?<url>/video/[^"]+)"[^>]*>(?:\s+<div[^>]+>\s+<div [^>]+' \
                      r'data-background-image="(?<thumburl2>[^"]+)")?[\w\W]{0,1000}?' \
                      r'<h3[^>]*>(?:<span>)?(?<title>[^<]+)(?:</span>)?</h3>(?:\s+' \
                      r'(?:<div[^>]*>\s+)?<div[^>]*>[^<]+</div>\s+<div[^>]+data-timestamp=' \
                      r'"(?<timestamp>\d+)")?'

from what I can make of it, it looks like the streaming system changed completely and needs a rewrite, unfortunatly I'm not good enough in pyhton for that challenge ...
