Question - (PYTHON, NOT TERMINAL)

Now, let's say you've accidently picked 1080p on a video thats 2+ hours long.
You want to kill the operation, without killing the program (like a gui).

How would you recommend I do this?
How would I stop a download from happening mid-download?

I would apprectiate all the help.
