Receiving a strange error while attempting to download this URL within canada:

https://gem.cbc.ca/media/documentary-specials/season-1/episode-109/38e815a-012b6b20ec0

Does permission denied refer to a particular linux directory that youtube-dl is trying to access?

I installed youtube-dl on ubuntu 18 like this:

sudo wget https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl -O /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
sudo chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
hash -r
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg
cd /usr/bin && sudo ln ffmpeg avconv && sudo ln ffmpeg avprobe

using the command:
youtube-dl -F https://gem.cbc.ca/media/documentary-specials/season-1/episode-109/38e815a-012b6b20ec0

displays the list of available filetypes correctly.

I'm a little worried about the fake IP. It isn't needed.
