Unable to download any video

1.) On running youtube-dl -v "some_url" in Ubuntu gives an output as follows:

2.)However running the python main.py file in the youtube_dl package
as python main.py "some_url" works perfectly fine

3.)Certain tests failed in test_youtube_signatures.py

You are using an outdated version of youtube-dl. Use sudo youtube-dl -U to update.
