Unplayable video despite apparently successful download #25788

Hi @dstftw it would be helpful if you could tell me which issue this is a duplicate of. I spent quite some time searching before I opened this to no avail. Now, my search-fu might be terrible sure, but closing as a dupe without any further info isn’t too helpful! |
Example video: https://youtu.be/uWFdXvs-Clw (time limited - might be gone soon but whichever current "Phish Dinner and a Movie" show is currently live should exhibit the same effect).
Result: the video downloads apparently successfully, but fails to play in VLC, or via Kodi. ffprobe identifies it as a valid file:

Tried with current version (2020.06.16.1) on both Ubuntu Linux 18.04 and MacOS X Catalina
Interestingly, I also tried with the commercial package X, and it had exactly the same result!
I can provide a link to the downloaded file if necessary.
