  • I've checked that all provided URLs are alive and playable in a browser
  • I've checked that all URLs and arguments with special characters are properly quoted or escaped
  • I've searched the bugtracker for similar bug reports including closed ones
  • I've read bugs section in FAQ

[youtube] xgy0rW0oaFI: Downloading webpage
[youtube] xgy0rW0oaFI: Looking for automatic captions
[info] Writing video subtitles to: xgy0rW0oaFI.fr.vtt

Description

This vidéo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgy0rW0oaFI

  • is in french
  • has only English manual-subtile

When downloading french auto-generated sub, I do not get auto-generated (from voice) but get the transated version of the english subtitles.

Other "tools" get the right ones :
https://savesubs.com/process?url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgy0rW0oaFI&feature=youtu.be&t=5129

To check, at 00:01:11 you should read "entrée" and not "apéritif"
"entrée" is the right word said in the vidéo
"apéritif" is the translation from the english subtitle version

Thanks,

It happened to me too, but with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSMNUxmNA8A

Not to mention I'm not trying to download the French subtitles, I'm trying to get the auto English ones. I need the automatic ones specifically for https://github.com/antiboredom/videogrep

Hopefully this is fixed soon.
