I also get the same message when installing other python packages like Flask. I think this isn't harmful.

Yes, but other packages that include the docs also show this message (because of this line in the manifest) and the installation succeeds. Probably we could just whitelist which files to include from the docs folder (Makefile, conf.py and the rst files), but the current system seems simpler to me.

Hi, I get the same message again when I am installing pyspider on win8. I did this: In the first step I installed pycurl.exe. In the second step I installed pip again(I used 'easy_install pip'). Then I used 'pip install pyspider'. It returned warning: no files found matching 'COPYING'
