Can you include the complete output you get when you call youtube-dl with the --verbose flag?

Had same problem, but seems to be fixed when using latest git source.

@manjunathad you are using an outdated version, run sudo youtube-dl -U to update, or sudo pip install -U youtube_dl if you used pip to install it.
If you can reproduce the problem with the last version, please post the output with the --verbose flag and we will reopen the issue.

I confirm this problem to be present in 2014.02.17 but working in 2014.05.05
