This is likely related to a new youtube update, and it seems to happen on all videos:

Works fine for me with youtube-dl 2014.04.21.6. Can you reproduce the error with the newest version? If you installed youtube-dl with a package manager like apt-get, either contact your distributor for a new version or uninstall it (like sudo apt-get remove -y youtube-dl) and use our manual installation to get the newest version.

As you could tell from the debug output, I'm running 2014.02.10. AFAIK, that's the latest available for Gentoo stable. I enabled the unstable version 2014.04.21.6, and it worked fine. Sorry that I didn't try that before, and ty for the help.
