--max-quality doesn't work with 4K-UHD

The problem is that the high resolution formats use DASH, so the video and the audio are in two different files.
If you have ffmpeg or avconv installed, you can run youtube-dl 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6D-A6CL3Pv8' -f bestvideo+bestaudio, which will download and join the video and the audio.

Hopefully one day we might see it in youtube-dl as it's a fantastic piece of software.
