Seems to be the same issue as #3353. |

Thank you for the report. This bug has been fixed in youtube-dl 2014.07.25. It looks like you installed youtube-dl with a package manager such as pip, pacman, or apt-get. Either use that to update (you may need to request a new version from the package maintainer) or uninstall the package and follow our manual installation instructions. |
