hello there great team of youtube-dl, first of all fanx for the great and powerful tool, which i find so helpful.
my problem recently is, after upgrading from ubuuntu 12 to 14, I cannot download a playlist, like lots of videos at the same time but i can download single videos. I don't know what could be the problem.

Post the full output you get when running with --verbose option.

Here's the same problem, just tried to download a playlist but it fails outright.

@blessedbiped Please refer to our FAQ. I'm closing this issue now, but if @dnaggie posts an output that indicates that they are using an up-to-date version of youtube-dl, we'll reopen it. Thanks for the reports!
