Is it possible to manually modify .mydownloads log.If so where to locate it.
Say If I want only few files and I can fake the archive log so that it will skip the the files i'm not interested in.

I understand --reject-title is an alternative method. However this method requires to write a lengthy regular expression term.

The file is wherever you specify it to be. So if you use --download-archive ~/.mydownloads, the file will be ~/.mydownloads. And sure, you can edit it, although we reserve the right to change the format in future versions of youtube-dl.
