Duplicate of #3930. This bug will be fixed in the next release of youtube-dl. Thanks for the report.

Fixed in youtube-dl 2014.10.12. It looks like you installed youtube-dl using a package manager such as pip or emerge, so use that to update.

My error message is :

first, try to update youtube-dl to the latest version and try again (your provided link works for me). If that does not solve your problem, please open a new issue here on GitHub with the output of youtube-dl --verbose <URL>, as your issue does not seem to be related to the original issue.
