User-channel not possible to download

Don't know if this is a bug or unimplemented function, but downloading from a user-channel without a playlist only downloads the video currently shown at the user-page, ignoring all other uploads by that user. Trying to get down all at : http://www.youtube.com/user/JudgeJudyForLife

I am interested in this too, in fact I'm thinking about implementing InfoExtractor for downloading videos by author - when I have the time of course...

In the meantime as a workaround I am simply using search InfoExtractor - you can search for user name in YT and it will display their videos, unfortunately in addition to some other videos (depends on user name).

It turned out that there already is YoutubeUserIE in youtube-dl, but it didn't work for me. I made some changes and issued a pull request:

This can be closed as the new YoutubeUserIE has been merged into master.
