Youtube now supports 60fps uploads. They play back in Chrome and maybe Opera(?) but not Firefox at the moment. You can select 720p or 1080p 60fps modes from the quality selector in Chrome. Here is an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xG8dHAR0eA&HD=1

youtube-dl currently shows the video streams as "unknown video" and "unknown" resolution. It would be useful for these to be supported and labelled properly in the output of -F

Can you post thee output you get when running youtube-dl -vF 5xG8dHAR0eA? I suspect you are running an outdated version of youtube-dl. Refer to our FAQ for updating instructions.

Wow yes you're right, after updating the output is perfectly descriptive. I was sure I updated yesterday but my memory must be failing me. Sorry!
