Can't see youtube-dl.conf file #4072

I have installed youtube-dl and have tested that it works, but cannot find the youtube-dl.conf file (I'm on Mac OS, or the directory it is meant to be in.
I installed using the curl method, so where would the directory be, or where do I create it?

You can create the file at ~/.config/youtube-dl/config (see the README).
