Even disregarding the required changes from #4210 the current extractor is a bit inflexible and should recognize more urls:

'/#/filme/' should be straightforward to detect. '/video/der-film-zum-wochenende-die-wahrheit-ueber-maenner-video-99003272.html' might a bit more difficult because there is some "prefix" ("der-film-zum-wochenende-") and "suffix" ("-video-\d+.html").

Both http://www.spiegel.tv/filme/alleskino-die-wahrheit-ueber-maenner and http://www.spiegel.tv/#/filme/alleskino-die-wahrheit-ueber-maenner/ already work fine for me. If these fail, please post the complete output you get when you call youtube-dl with the -v option on these URLs.

Thank you for the reports. As of youtube-dl 2014.11.16, all mentioned URLs should be supported just fine. See our FAQ if you have problems updating.
