Actually I just noticed from the output, that the version homebrew has is old compared to installing youtube-dl using curl. Removing the homebrew version and installing latest manually using curl fixed the issue. How often is the homebrew version updated? |

YouTube changed their player on November 13th, so you'll need at least youtube-dl 2014.11.13 to download all YouTube videos. See our FAQ if you have trouble updating. |

I'm guessing it has something to do with the
-symbol in the URL?
