get-url parameter does expire?

I am quite interested about the -get-url parameter (I am planning to use these urls in my application).

Do you know if they expire? Is it possible to make them to do not expire?

That depends. But generally you shouldn't rely on this - just pull new URL with --get-url everytime you need it. If some hoster want URLs to expire there is nothing we can do about that.
