Please add option to start autonumbering from different number than 1. If you download some playlist with '-o "%(autonumber)s - %(title)s.%(ext)s"' option, resuming download is impossible, because the autonumber counter is reset to 1.

Is it true that resume is not available? Have you actually tried
'--continue' option along with these?

I think you don't understand - resuming download of single video works fine, as well as resuming playlist download with '-o "%(title)s.%(ext)s"' option, but this is not possible with '-o "%(autonumber)s -
%(title)s.%(ext)s"' and '--playlist-start N' options because after resume the autonumber counter is reset to 1 whereas it should be N.

Hm, everything seems to work for me as far as I can tell:

What behaviour were you expecting, exactly?

After restarting the counter will be reset and again start from the
same value it started before. If you don't explicitly move the range in
the list to download, you'll have youtube-dl checked all them from the
beginning, found what's incomplete and resume from the one. If no, tell
me the magic that should store the «old N» to craft the «next N» next
time?

What's wrong?

Sorry, my mistake. I thought I had to explicitly use '--playlist-start N' option.

@lahwaacz Hey, thank you for your curiousity, anyway. As for me, I discovered Issues and Wikies at GitHub quite a good place to exchange and confirm our experience. ;D
