Recently im noticed that the youtube-dl not working. it shows the "HTTP Error 429: Too Many Requests" error code. i thinks youtube blocked my ip for over downloading. now i want to use proxy for bypassing this issue. how can i use --proxy " " these code to allow youtube-dl from proxy server? i tried alot but always getting the following error "ERROR: Unable to download webpage: (caused by BadStatusLine('',)); "
is it possible to use " youtube-dl --proxy "user:pass@proxy.com:port" url " to download videos?
please help
