I just tried to download this VOD
http://www.twitch.tv/iamsp00n/v/3867484and by deafult youtube-dl picked high instead of source, similiar to this issue #4972I think it's the same thing, it chooses high because the fixed bitrate for High is higher than the original source. But the original stream without beeing re-encoded would be better.
